Tausuppliers Ltd, trading as Factory Directly, is the data controller for information collected through this website. Contact details are on the Contact page.

What we collect and why

• Orders and accounts: name, company, address, email, phone, order history. Needed to fulfil your order and run your account (contract).
• Trade and supplier applications: company details, company and VAT numbers, and documents you upload as proof of origin. Used to check applications (legitimate interest). Documents are stored privately and seen only by us.
• Stock alerts and model requests: your email address, used only to send the message you asked for.
• Quotes: the products, quantities and prices you ask for.
• Site usage: we count product views, clicks and searches as totals. These counts contain no personal data. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

Cookies

The site uses a session cookie to keep you logged in and remember your basket, and a currency/language preference. No advertising cookies.

Sharing

We share data only with the services needed to run the shop: our hosting provider, payment providers (who process your payment under their own privacy policies), and delivery couriers (name, address, phone). We never sell personal data.

Keeping and deleting

Order records are kept for six years for tax purposes. Applications are kept while they are open and for 12 months after a decision. Stock alerts are deleted once sent or cancelled. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to how we use it. Contact us and we will respond within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
